Free wellbeing session for dance teachers (final session for now)

Get the Zoom link for Monday’s session with Sho. Are you going to join us? 2pm start (London BST)

It has been a while since our last wellbeing session and I am aware that dance teachers are mostly fully back into the studio and are not always available to make time for ourselves – something that is vitally important and perhaps more so now that life has become so busy again.

I’m going to do one more free wellbeing session for dance teachers and then I will rest these sessions and see how things go. Perhaps we can do an occasional session to get together and remind ourselves of some of the simple but effective ways that we can do self-care through movement, relaxation and breathing. This final (for the moment) session will take place on Zoom at:

2pm (London, UK time) on Monday, 1 August 2022 – please note the 2pm start

This FREE wellbeing session as you will no doubt know is an opportunity to spend an hour caring for yourself through the gentle but energising movement, mindful relaxation and breathing.

If you are already on the email list the Zoom link will be sent to you. If you are not on the list and want to receive a link for Monday or sessions held in the future, you can leave a message in the comment facility for this post or email Sho to request the link.

As always, there’s no pressure to perform, it is about doing something for yourself and you work at the level that feels right for you and your body on the day. Most of the movement can be done standing or seated and the mindful relaxation can be done seated or lying down – it’s your choice.

Hope to see you there.

Sho

  1. Hi Sho, Unfortunately I will be at a funeral on Monday so will be unable to join you. Thank you for your enjoyable sessions and for what you have done for the wellbeing of dance teachers, it was much needed and much appreciated. Have a good summer, Elizabeth
