Your comments and requests have been listened to and we’re pleased to announce our trial making all of the current Short CPD Courses for Dance Teachers available to book on multiple dates between April and June. There are ten courses to choose from.

  2. Positive psychology for dance teachers: and introduction
  3. Dance teaching ethics: an introduction
  4. Mindfulness in dance teaching
  5. Teaching dance for health
  6. Teaching the adolescent dancer
  7. Tension & Rigidity in dance
  8. Teaching dance to older people
  9. Proprioception
  10. Child development for dance teachers

CPD, continuing professional development is a vital aspect of the dance teacher’s toolkit. These short CPD courses, completed over a period of three weeks, offer dance teachers in all dance genres opportunities to explore each topic through a format of learn and review, plan a class or session and teaching the planned session or class and doing a guided reflection on the taught class. Within each course there are weekly email tutorials enablling course content to be tailored to suit individual teaching practices. The current choice of dates for the above courses are. The closing date for bookings is also provided. Bookings cannot be accepted after the closing date. All times and dates are UK time.

Starting 14 April 2023 (finishes 4 May 2023) – closing date for bookings 7 April 2023

Starting 5 May 2023 (finishes 25 May 2023) – closing date for bookings 28 April 2023

Starting 9 June 2023 (finishes 29 June 2023) – closing date for bookings 2 June 2023
