The current two courses are due to start at the end of next week on Friday 12 June.

A Day for Dance Teachers – postponed

How disappointing it is to have to postpone this one day course. I was so looking forward to Professor Howard Bird’s session on teaching hypermobile students and dancers. It seems that the date was not suitable to teachers that would usually attend so I am considering putting the day on either later on this year or early next year. If you want to attend please leave a comment saying if this year or early next would be suitable for you.

Do you have something at the back of your mind that you keep meaning to find out more about? Is there a dance teaching topic or issue makes you so curious that it motivates you to pick up a book, explore the internet, talk to a colleague to satisfy your curiosity? I always find that following my curiosity about a topic makes it easier to learn because I want to know more about the topic. I might start out being curious about one topic and through exploring that I also discover that I want to know more about other, related, topics too.
