This is a great time to do something for yourself – dance teachers are often busy helping others but with lockdown you may have 30-40 minutes on a Friday that you can spare to join this session. No experience in mindful relaxation is required and you might find that you want to use the skills we use at other times during the week and also with your students in the future.

NB: the link being sent out on Thursday (23 April) will enable you to join the mindful relaxation session each Friday morning. You won’t need to get a different link for each week.
We enjoyed a good mindful relaxation practice this morning on Zoom. Following on from the recent test session we are planing to do some more Free Mindful Relaxation sessions for dance teachers during the lockdown period.
Sessions will be once a week on Friday mornings at 10am (UK time) beginning Friday 17 April 2020 until further notice.
Each session is FREE and will be about 30 minutes mindful relaxation and if wanted perhaps a short chat afterwards.
Nourish yourself with a little bit of mindful relaxation. You don’t need to have done any before. It’s about feeling comfortable and doing something for you – sitting or lying down it is up to you.
These online sessions are done via Zoom. To participate we need to email you a link to click on to join the session. The easiest way to do this is if you can leave a comment below on this post and we can send you a link to the email address connected to your comment. The link will be sent out the day before the mindful relaxation session.
We have a small group of dance teachers keen to take this free session with me. The session will take place on Sunday 29 March at 11am (UK, London time). If you wish to join us then please leave a comment either in the previous post or this one so that you can be sent an invitation to the Zoom Meeting. You do not need to have a Zoom account to be able to join the meeting but you will need an invitation.
